The Kadimo machine (Noame)

Drawing sent to dad’s computer. The original was delivered personally to the consignee.
In Hebrew, “Kadima” means “to move forward”. Noame specified that the machine is a male… its name is Kadimo!
Author’s commentary: “this machine makes clothes,cars, picture frames and computers. The machine is a huge computer itself”
Technique: stickers and felt tip
Made entirely by Noame (4 y) except for the frame and the message of course!!!

… so that, if the original version get lost there won’t be any family drama…

How should I translate “doudou”?

As opposed to what is commonly said, “doudous” don’t have a “dream catcher” function. They are not acting like a charm to protect children from nightmares…

They simply help children to resume sleeping in the middle of the night and then, carry on with their own beautiful and cosy dreams.

Most “doudous” are stress free cloth creature!!!

Their dreams are made of images from the day before.

Generally speaking, “Doudou” have very short term memory.

For instance, they do not recall the time when they were sitting on a Doudou shop shelves…

… all tne more so, they do not recall that once, they have been the object of a commercial transaction…

Noame came back from the beach with cute black pebbles. I knock this one together with this coiled cat.

It’s just a little thing, hastily made but it made us want to look for some more beautiful and dodgy shaped stones and get imaginative about it…

I get the impression it can be a direction for some more illustration work.

Every little idea is currently stored until SEPTEMBER when drawing time will open up in front of me like a dream come true … In other words: when sweet Hadar will have fun with her friends!!!.

Egg shaped chicks

Do you remember this dodgy “collages” made of weird recycled material, glued, generously painted then proudly offered to mummy for mother’s day?…

… and mum’s natural reaction to praise her beloveds creativity with tears in her eyes while looking at noodles necklaces, toilet rolls figurines and … and the famous customised Camembert box !!! (straight in the depths of French culture)

Mum’s pride even drive her to leave the art object very much in sight in the living room.

Here is an rendering of a mother day’s present: an egg with cut paper by way of wings and tail. Lets’ give this creatures friends, families, hobbies…

At first, Egg shaped chick clumsily flew up to the sky, then twirl around and grew bolder until he reach the clouds… under the watchful eyes of friends and family!

The bluepit has a gift for colors.

When lilies send for the bees…

… the pollen buzz out of the slender white flowers (producing, by the way, a stunning imitation of the bees vocal vibrations).

This subtle, but nonetheless insistent sound, surfs on the wind waves to eventually reach the bees antennas, launching that way the early Honey making season.
