This set is the most “favorited” or “liked’ of my cards and print on the net.
I might prepare a new set with completely different atmosphere... more patterns based images...
I came across this frame.. and felt like posting it again (it comes from here)
Do you remember? .... that the Chrismukkah word is a portmanteau arisen through the blending of the words "Christmas" and "Hanukkah".
Chrismukkah is also celebrated as an ironic, alternative holiday, much like the Seinfeld-derived "Festivus." As let's enjoy a classic Seinfeld Sequence: happy "Festivus for the rest of us" !!!!
This year we have an even more offbeat Chrismukkah celebration, since we will party on the 28th instead of the 24th... that way, we could celebrate with our british and Spanish friend Penny, Yohai, Amit and Limor!!!
I am preparing a new pattern cards line... (36 items)
I need to make some printing samples. It will be a thicker paper compared with the previous lines (see my Etsy boutique).
Just by writing the word "PRINT: I am feeling dizzy:
I thought I eventually found a descent printing place (beautiful colors result and not the least important: one that was ready to neatly cut my cards with the white elegant border I love so much...I know it sounds like it is not a big deal but believe me it is, I felt I won a huge victory!
After being very much understanding, I have to acknowledge, they have a HUGE problem with keeping dead lines, in this case, the word "dead line" even loose its meaning. I don't even want to say how late they are:not day, not weeks but months, they are so unprofessional on that ground! it is just unbelievable.
For this one I will go back to Tel Aviv ( Graph Orr) they were not ready for the white border (which work out perfectly since there is no border here), they also produce nice color and work within schedule!!!
My Graal would be shaped into a printing place which is:
- Ready to print and cut with a 3mm white border
- Produce beautiful colors
- keep (more or less) dead lines
I tidied my computer (just a little, the amount of work is too big!) and found various banners: work for others, for my Etsy shop, for Facebook, for my blog ... give an idea of the past "crea-scribble" season.
Ok, Ok , Ok, lets get down to work for a new one!
Wishing you a smooth return to...what you do!
I can't believe I have to redo and photoshop clean my postcard pictures for the online boutique!
One can say that I am learning from experience! or let's say that is that case: I made all the possible mistakes!
The last one is contained by the adage: "act before thinking"!
After photographing the cards one by one I realised I'd be better off taking pictures of packs of 2, 3 or 4 ! Here we are (making off).
By the way, this morning I came across this article: 5 Strategic Ways To Get More Done In A Workday. I am going to meditate on this one...
Have a wonderful day!
